Ingredients
π For the Shrimp:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Oil for frying
π For the Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
π For the Tacos:
8 small tortillas
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
In a bowl, combine buttermilk and shrimp. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Dredge marinated shrimp in the flour mixture, coating well.
Fry the shrimp until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha.
Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce until coated.
