Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small head cabbage, chopped
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped cabbage, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, uncooked rice, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the cabbage and rice are tender.
Remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
