Ingredients
6 chicken thighs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ketchup, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and black pepper.
Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, making sure they are well-coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce, until the chicken is fully cooked and caramelized.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add this to the sauce in the baking dish, stirring until thickened.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
