- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Layer half the cooked spaghetti in the baking dish. Top with half the meat mixture and half of the shredded cheeses.
- Repeat the layers with remaining spaghetti, meat, and cheese. Spread sour cream evenly on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
