  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

Cheesy Taco Spaghetti is a bold and comforting fusion of tacos and pasta, layered with savory taco-seasoned beef, salsa, gooey cheese, and a creamy sour cream topping. Perfect for family dinners, potlucks, or anytime you’re craving a flavorful twist on classic spaghetti.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Layer half the cooked spaghetti in the baking dish. Top with half the meat mixture and half of the shredded cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layers with remaining spaghetti, meat, and cheese. Spread sour cream evenly on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
