Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
Prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions. Spread the prepared stuffing over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the stuffing layer.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
