Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups water
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni and stir well. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving. Top with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
