  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and minced garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and dried thyme. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly with the creamy sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
