- 4 green onions, chopped (white and green parts separated)

- 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch with 1 cup of chicken broth until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the white parts of the green onions and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the ground ginger, turmeric, and white pepper to the pot and cook for 45 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the remaining 5 cups of chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Pour the beaten eggs into a pastry bag or a small zip-top bag with a corner snipped off. Slowly drizzle the eggs into the soup while gently stirring in one direction to create silky ribbons.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with the green parts of the chopped green onions.
