Ingredients

Scale

1 pound lamb or beef, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups cooked brown rice or quinoa

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cucumber, diced

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Tzatziki sauce, for serving

Instructions

In a bowl, combine thinly sliced lamb or beef with olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the meat evenly with the spices.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated meat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and browned.

Meanwhile, prepare the brown rice or quinoa according to package instructions.

Assemble your gyro bowls by dividing cooked brown rice or quinoa among serving bowls. Top with cooked meat, cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, sliced red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.

Drizzle tzatziki sauce generously over the bowls before serving.
