- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- Pineapple slices (for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper; place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour half of the honey pineapple mixture over the salmon; reserve the rest.
- Bake salmon for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While salmon bakes, simmer the reserved sauce in a saucepan over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove salmon from oven, spoon thickened sauce over each fillet, and garnish with pineapple slices and fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

- You can grill the salmon instead of baking for a smoky twist.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
