- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, crumbled
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 4 rectangles by pressing perforations to seal.
- Place a heaping tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle. Top with crumbled King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch edges to seal.
- Arrange danishes on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a spoonful of fruit preserves or pie filling inside each danish before baking.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the cream cheese filling.
