Ingredients
4 cups pretzels, crushed
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and spread the crushed pretzels evenly in the dish.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring until dissolved.
Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened and caramelized.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the caramel mixture over the pretzels, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel and let them sit for a few minutes to melt. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the caramel layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
