Ingredients
– 1 lb (450g) ground beef – 1 onion, finely chopped – 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 cup (240ml) ketchup – 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – 1 tbsp brown sugar – 1 tbsp yellow mustard – 1 tsp chili powder – Salt and pepper, to taste – Hamburger buns, for serving
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. 2. Add onion, green bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until vegetables are softened. 3. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. 6. Spoon mixture onto hamburger buns and serve. 7. Optional: Serve with pickles, coleslaw, or your favorite sides.
