Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Brussels sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using.
Spread on baking sheet: Arrange the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down.
Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through the cooking time for even roasting.
Finish with balsamic vinegar: If desired, drizzle the roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar just before serving. Toss to coat evenly.
Serve: Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy hot.
