Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 can (15 oz) Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce

1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen corn, thawed

1/2 cup diced onions

1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and green bell pepper, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce and thawed corn. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through.

Pour the Sloppy Joe mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and layer it over the Sloppy Joe mixture, covering the entire surface.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
