Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs flank steak, thinly sliced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
4 cups broccoli florets
Cooked white rice, for serving
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a slow cooker, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir well.
Add the thinly sliced flank steak to the slow cooker and toss to coat with the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until the beef is tender.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the slow cooker and stir to thicken the sauce.
Add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high, or until the broccoli is tender.
Serve the broccoli beef over cooked white rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
