Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz medium pasta shells
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set beef aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until mixture is bubbly and golden.
Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
Add shredded cheddar cheese to the milk mixture, stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
Stir in cooked ground beef and cooked pasta shells, mixing until well combined and heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
