Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

1 cup salsa

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Sour cream (optional, for topping)

Sliced jalapeños (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

Add taco seasoning to the beef according to package instructions. Stir well and set aside.

Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a 4-inch circle.

Press each dough circle into a muffin tin cup, forming a little bowl.

Spoon a tablespoon of salsa into each dough cup.

Divide the seasoned beef evenly among the dough cups.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese over the top of each beef-filled cup.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden and the cheese is melted.

Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin. Top with chopped green onions, sour cream, and sliced jalapeños if desired.
