Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning mix and water according to package directions. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust. Press seams together to seal.
Spread cooked taco meat evenly over the crescent roll crust.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the meat layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until crescent roll crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before topping with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, and sliced black olives (if using).
